The official website state that the mixed world heritage sites are 29. The mixed sites are based on natural heritage attributes and cultural heritage attributes. Cultural heritage contains the tangible and intangible cultural attributes like a group or society that are inherited from past generations and maintain in the present and giving for future generations. Tangible assets include like works of art, books, artefacts, buildings, landscapes, monuments etc. Intangible assets are folklore, language, traditions and more. Cultural heritage is unique and irreplaceable, which places the responsibility of conservation the current generation.
